Event Overview
Surya Devbhoomi Challenge 2.0 is a multi-day ultra trail running event conducted across high-altitude mountainous terrain, including but not limited to the following routes:
• Day 1: Helang to Kalgot
• Day 2: Kalgot to Mandal
• Day 3: Mandal to Ukhimath
Participants acknowledge that the event involves remote locations, steep gradients, unpredictable weather, altitude exposure, uneven surfaces, wildlife presence and prolonged physical exertion. The event is inherently hazardous and demands advanced endurance, preparedness and self-responsibility.
Participant Declaration & Assumption of Risk
By registering for and participating in Surya Devbhoomi Challenge 2.0, I hereby voluntarily declare, acknowledge and agree to the following:
Voluntary Participation
My participation is entirely voluntary and undertaken with full awareness of the nature, scope and inherent risks associated with ultra trail endurance events.
Acknowledgment of Risks
I fully understand and expressly accept all risks, including but not limited to:
• Serious injury, illness, permanent disability or death
• Altitude sickness, hypothermia, dehydration, heat exhaustion or cardiac events
• Slips, falls, collisions, animal encounters, equipment malfunction and environmental hazards
• Limited, delayed, or unavailable medical assistance due to remote terrain
I accept full personal responsibility for all consequences arising from these risks.
Fitness & Training Confirmation
I affirm that:
• I am physically, mentally, and medically fit to participate in a multi-day ultra endurance trail event
• I possess adequate prior training, experience and preparedness
• I have obtained medical clearance from a qualified healthcare professional where necessary
Medical Responsibility
I agree that:
• I am solely responsible for monitoring my health condition before, during and after the event
• I will immediately withdraw and seek medical assistance upon experiencing distress or health concerns
• All medical expenses, emergency evacuations, hospitalisation or treatment costs shall be borne entirely by me
Safety Compliance
I agree to strictly comply with all safety instructions, route markings, cutoff timings and decisions made by organizers, officials, medical personnel and marshals.
Failure to comply may result in disqualification or removal from the event without refund or compensation.
I further agree not to contest or pressure organizers if deemed medically or physically unfit to continue.
No Refund & Force Majeure Policy
All registration fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
In cases of postponement, modification or cancellation due to force majeure events—including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, governmental restrictions or safety concerns—organizers reserve full discretion without financial liability.
Pricing & Entry Discretion
I acknowledge that entry fees, participation categories and promotional schemes may vary at the sole discretion of the organizers and do not constitute grounds for dispute.
Fair Play & Eligibility
I confirm that I am not banned or suspended by any athletic body or event organizer. Any violation of fair competition policies may result in immediate disqualification without refund.
Personal Kit Collection
I understand that race kit collection requires my personal presence along with valid identification and medical compliance as specified by the organizers.
Release & Waiver of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby irrevocably release, waive, discharge and hold harmless the following entities (collectively referred to as “Releasees”):
• Indian Army
• CYRUNS Sports & Wellness LLP
• All associated organizers, partners, sponsors, officials, volunteers, service providers, medical teams, land authorities and affiliated entities
from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses or causes of action arising from or related to my participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This waiver shall be binding upon my heirs, legal representatives, assigns and next of kin.
Media & Data Consent
I grant unrestricted permission to the organizers and partners to use my name, image, voice, photographs, videos and event-related data for promotional, marketing, documentation or media purposes without compensation or further consent.
Final Acknowledgement
I confirm that I have read, understood and voluntarily accepted all terms stated herein. I acknowledge this document as legally binding and agree that my registration and participation constitute full acceptance of these terms regardless of whether a physical signature is provided.
